About OBC

The Online Blog Conference was started in 2012 by two bloggers who lived on opposite sides of the United States. They desperately wanted to attend an in-person conference but lacked that funds to travel. Instead of going to a conference, they decided to bring the conference to them. Well, they brought it right into their living rooms. Dorothy and Ashton created the OBC with the idea to bring all the bloggers together online to learn and share ideas.

The response was overwhelming! There were many other bloggers who could not afford to travel or take the time off to go to an in-person conference – this was the perfect arrangement!

After two successful online conferences, both ladies decided to “hang up their aprons” in 2014. They have passed along the conference to Karyn and her her team of bloggers to keep the fires burning!

OBC will be using YouTube for all the video presentations and discussion. You will need to have a G+ account to watch the videos, ask questions, and discuss the topics with other OBC members.

If you have any suggestions on topics that you would like to see, please send us an email.

We hope to see you there!
